Until now, Eventward’s event fields lived in the block editor’s sidebar. If your site uses the Classic Editor plugin, or a page builder that switches the block editor off (Divi does), you could create an event but not set its date, venue or tickets. 0.5.4 fixes that.
Where the fields are
On the classic edit screen the same fields now appear in boxes below the content:
- Date and time, including repeats, with a preview of the next dates.
- Event details: venue, organizers, cost, website, in person or online, and status.
- Tickets and RSVP.
- Venues and organizers get their own details boxes too, including map coordinates.
They save to the same place as the block editor, so you can switch editors without losing anything. If you use the block editor, nothing changes.
